The papers found in the wastebasket are all wrinkled, as if someone crumpled them into tight balls.


I woke up and I just have to write this down before I change my mind. I don't know if I'll ever be able to say all this if you guys catch me.

Dave and Washington, I don't know if you'll ever forgive me, and I don't expect you to. Tucker was a good man.

There's some things in my room that need to be taken home. Apart from those, I want Haruka and Isabelle to have the first choice in what to take.

First is the Egg of Light. It must be brought to Tazmily as soon as possible, before it's too late. Find an old man named Wess. He's my dad. He'll figure out how to use it. Tell Princess Kumatora and Lucas that I'm sorry I couldn't make it back.

The sunflowers on my desk must be given to Lucas. He, his father, and his twin brother live on the south side of Tazmily on a sheep farm. His mother died recently, and those were her favorite flowers. I want them to know that I was thinking of them all this time.

There's a band at Club Titiboo called DCMC. I don't remember where it is, but I know you'll find it. They all wear the same suit as I did, and you'll have to say that Lucky sent you. Return my bass and wig for me, and tell them they need to find a new bassist. I'm sorry.

I wish I could live just a while longer and help all of you escape, but I guess this is what destiny had in store for me, didn't it? You were the greatest people I've ever spent five weeks with. Please, keep on supporting each other.

There's so much I wanted to do. I wanted to write a song with you, test out more of our tools, just spend more time together. And I hurt you. But I want you to live on, and get stronger. And if there's anything on your chest you want to get off, find Isabelle. She's listened to me ramble on about a lot of things, and having her sleep over helped me calm down so much. I'm worried about you. There's some things I see in your eyes that feel familiar, even if you don't want to tell me. Take care of yourself.

I give you permission to take anything you want from my room. The whip, the vise, the plushie, the bras, anything you can think of. Any Thief Tools you find in the Monomono machine are yours. The mask (use it as for the element of surprise), the tickle feather (to disarm Monobear), the smoke bomb, the hypno-pendulum, the wall staples (be very careful! they're sharp. Only stick those in floors or walls as a ladder), and the siren beetle (hold it gently when you're not using it). I know you could figure out what they do on your own, but my dad always asked me to figure things out myself, and that's never ended well. Take care of those, and use them for everyone's safety.

You have friends waiting for you back home. Please, find a way out and return to them. They care about you. And if you stop by Tazmily, you should definitely meet Kumatora. I'm sure she'll like you.

You were my best friend. I'll treasure all those moments we wasted together until the end.
